Event Details

We invite you to a day of discovery on an exclusive E-Bike Taster Day through the heart of the Cotswolds. This isn’t just a ride; it is an invitation to Slow Cycling, where we meander along quiet lanes and ancient bridleways at a pace that allows for genuine connection with the rolling hills and honey-coloured villages of the Cotswolds. In classic Slow Cyclist style, the ride will be on quiet lanes and paths, avoiding fast-moving traffic, with a catered lunch at the Old Rectory in Quenington, hosted by its owner Lucy Abel Smith.

Lucy is an art historian, the author of Travels in Transylvania and the founder of the renowned Fresh Air Sculpture, a biennial show in Quenington that has become an established fixture in the arts calendar since it was first held in 1992.  For £280.00 per person, your journey includes premium e-bike and helmet hire, expert guiding, and a fully catered lunch with curated refreshment stops. We will gather at Coln Stores in Coln St Aldwyns (GL7 5AN) at 9am for coffee and a briefing, returning by 5pm after a day of effortless gliding and soulful exploration. With only 8 spaces available to maintain an intimate and personal atmosphere, we encourage you to book at your earliest convenience to avoid disappointment. Should you have any questions, please reach out to events@theslowcyclist.com, we would be delighted to have you join us for this unique Cotswold encounter.
